Mid-Level Career
Transition Program
SERVICES INCLUDE:
On-site Termination Assistance.
Initial Meeting. Initial orientation session with
an Action Management/OI Partners Career consultant. Overview of
the transition process and an introduction to the selected supplemental
services.
Self-Appraisal Instruments. Administration of
self-assessment instruments designed to give the candidate a greater
understanding of their personality style, as well as understanding
the basic areas of occupation and/or entrepreneurial interest. Testing
is self-administered under direction from the career consultant.
Evaluation Feedback. In-depth evaluation and feedback
based on candidate’s response to the appraisal instruments.
The career consultant will provide information which is helpful
in understanding areas of career interest, coupled with individual
preferences and personality type.
Career Transition Workshop. Candidates will participate
in an intensive Career Transition workshop covering the following
topics:

- Career Assessment
- Skills Assessment
- Two Minute Drill
- Resume Development with one-on-one assistance
- Creating Electronic Resumes
- Understanding the Job Market
- Market Research
- Networking and Contact Development
- Making Contact with Agencies, Recruiters, and Executive Search
Firms
- Tracking Campaign Progress
- Telephone and Letter Approaches
- The Job Interview Process
- Negotiations and Job Offer Evaluation
- Personal Marketing Plan
- Campaign Management
- Career Management
- Exploring Consulting or Entrepreneurial Options
Office Support. Multiple months of additional
office support may be selected,
and includes:
- Office and Work Space
- Fax and Telephone Usage, 24-hour voice mail
- Access to the Internet
- Efficient Administration and Secretarial Support
- Printing and Copying
LENGTH OF PROGRAM: Available for 3, 6 or 9 Months.
